Great Little Camera
[ Posted: 2008-09-04 ]
This is a great little camera! I've had a few point-and-shoot cameras and this one is very easy to use and takes pretty darn good pictures!
I found that the red-eye button was making the shutter pretty slow, but once it was turned off, I've had no problems with use. And, as a mother to a 1-year-old, the anti-shake feature is a lifesaver!
Great camera, nice pics, simple to use

Replacement for daughter's camera (fell onto floor!). Works well, easy menus, easy point and shoot. Good value for the money.
DOA - We'll see how Nikon Warranty Service turns out

Bought this for a graduation present. Sent it off to their college - it did not work. I tried to get it to work later and it 'takes' a picture but nothing goes to any memory (internal or SD card). I missed the return window by 3 days, with vacations and all. Perhaps a reminder that local brick and mortar stores are much better at this sort of event than packaging and shipping to an ether-store. I'll update this after I learn how Nikon treats me.
Don't waste your time

Incredibly slow shutter speed - I ended up erasing half my pictures because all that was left was background or landscape - the action had already left. A couple of times the gap between pressing the button and the camera actually executing was over 6 seconds.
Great little camera!

Great little camera! Uses standard "AA" batteries and takes a good photo. It may not have all the bells and whistles of the more expensive cameras but it is more than adequate for the average person's snapshots. I own several digital cameras and this is my favorite.
