I diligently searched for a good quality point & shoot camera that was easy to use & small in size. I used the product reviews by Amazon & other camera sites. I recently used the camera for a Mediterranean cruise & absolutely loved the ease of use of the camera & picture quality. It's easy enough for an amateur to use & has other features that I'm looking forward to learning how to use.
Great Camera

Big Zoom in a small package

I forgot my camera for my son's graduation for college. We had a video camera, but I wanted a point and shoot. I've owned older Stylus models before and never had a complaint, so when I saw this with 10 megapixils and a 7x optical zoom, I knew it was mine.
As with any camera you have to discover all the features. One that I loved during the graduation was a continuous shooting mode. I have about 20 or 30 photos of him walking across the stage getting his diploma. With those kind of shots you never seem to time the best shot right, but now you don't have to. You get them all and can pick out the best of the bunch. That mode did use up alot of the battery though.
Battery life in general has been great, I don't have to recharge every 2 seconds, and I can pick up my camera after not using it for a couple of weeks and there is still "juice".
Overall very happy.
Excellent camera

I can't find anything wrong with this camera. Both zoom and clarity outperform my friends new Nikon digital 35mm slr. That was a shock to me and him. Long battery life, very bright display, unbelievable video. Also, it is superior at low light settings, even with the flash off. Just put the dial on SCN and find the 'available light' setting. It comes out brighter than it appears to your eyes. Also very easy to operate.
