Description
The Ravelli ATD Professional Tripod Dolly provides a smooth and stable base for your photo or Video Tripod. The wheels are the most important feature for a dolly to provide a smooth roll. The Ravelli ATD uses all metal ball bearing casters with 3" rubber wheels for an ultra smooth roll. Once the dolly is positioned, a simple "step" on the locks for one or more of the wheels, keeps the dolly from moving. There is no need to screw a separate rubber stopper to the floor to prevent movement. The Ravelli ATD uses universal and fully adjustable tripod leg locks. The base and screw lock with fit nearly any tripod leg. Additionally, the leg grips slide along the dolly legs going either closer to the center or out to the end. No-budget filmmakers take note...

This thing is easy to use, sturdy, complies with even the cheapest tripod, folds up nice and comes with its own little carrying case. Rarely do you see dolly shots in no-budget films, so this item is your chance to cheaply achieve a professional camera effect. It's got thick rubber on the wheels and rolls smoothly on carpet and bare floors. If you're using it on asphalt or uneven surfaces you'll want to put down cardboard as a "track" to even out the bumps. Coolest of all, I was able to pull off a Hitchcock-style dolly out/zoom in shot. Get this and have fun.
Great Dolly for Light-Weight Cameras and Tripods

This is a great dolly for me when using light-weight cameras and tripods. I had something similar, and more expensive, when I worked on the video staff at a private college. It takes only a simple adjustment for the dolly to accommodate the legs of my tripods. It folds up neatly when not in use. I'm very happy with it.
