Could be better...

I have owned this camera for a year now. I'm not totally satisfied with it. I have played with the settings numerous times but I cannot take a decent picture indoors even with great natural lighting. Pictures still turn out dark. I didn't like how when I took a picture of somebody indoors how it made the background nearly dark while only highlighting the individual. It's tough trying to capture the mood with the surroundings when everything else looks dark. It's simply not a point and shoot camera. You have to hold the button a few seconds for the lens to focus and since I take a lot of pictures on the fly in my car, I have missed many shots waiting for this to focus. It does take some decent shots outdoors but sometimes the colors are funky. Also this is NOT the camera to be taking pictures in the woods where it is shady. Even with the natural light in the shade the pictures turn dark. My old Sony Cyber Shot DSC P52 took the same pictures in the same lighting conditions as the Nikon and they were nice and bright whereas the Nikon was too dark. A plus to this camera though it has a decent LCD screen size.

I really like this camera. I had taken my friend's to Europe and took over 300 pics with it and everyone was amazing. So I decided to buy it myself in the white color and love it!! :)

The camera is ok, I guess. I got it for Christmas 06'. It doesnt come with a charger, or a memory chip, or a charger. So you have to but all that stuff unless you want to keep on buying batteries.
But other than that the camera is great. And if you ask Amazon to wrap it(the present),they will and it is soooo nice, I loved it.

Easy to operate. LOTS & LOTS of functions for taking fun pictures. Easy to upload. Pics are crisp and bright and the movie mode is also great for taking videos. Its also very light and small. It was given to me as a gift. I JUST LOVE THIS CAMERA.
