Solid starter lens

I got this lens along with my K10D, and it's surprisingly versatile and well-built for its extremely low price.
The autofocus can be a little slow sometimes, and I occasionally wish it had a wider aperture, but it's an excellent beginner lens and you really can't beat the price. Even though I have several other lenses, this is still the one that's on my camera most of the time.
Great Addition

I received my lens much faster that I had hoped for and it was in excellent condition. I've already taken over 400 pictures with it and am very satisfied!

Stop it down a bit and it does the job. Not recommended for low light.
Average, but you can to better

The autofocus on this lens is much too slow. In addition, the aperture doesn't allow enough light it. The lense would be useful for a beginner, but I would invest a bit more in a more solid lense with a lower aperture setting. Pentax offers hundreds of thousands of quality used lenses.
