Konica Minolta CSDG8 Camera Case for the Dimage 5, 7, 7i, 7hi, A1, A2 & A200 Digital Cameras

Was looking for a case which would protect my Minolta A200, which often finds itself in a backpack during long hikes. This particular case was the only one that was a guaranteed fit.

I've been using the case for a month, and it works exactly as advertised. Contrary to what others have written, this Minolta-branded case does have a internal pocket. Mine is holding an extra compact flash card and the camera's IR remote control. There is still plenty of room left for two or three more CF cards if needed. Perfect.

The case is not air tight, as others have mentioned. I've never owned a case that didn't have this issue, so it did not seem like a deal killer. When hiking in dusty (or rainy) places, the problem is easly solved with a low-tech ziplock bag.

I wouldnt buy this case unless you only want a protective case to prevent scratching etc.

Cons:
The flap does not seal the case, therefore it is not dust-proof.
No storage available for charger, cables ... not even an extra CF card.
Not water resistant
It does not even provide space to store the attachments that come with the camera .. something that is a basic neccessity atleast for what I bought ie. a Dimage A200.

Pros:
A light weight case to protect the camera from minor scratches.
Good for quick access and when you only need to carry the camera.
