Nikon Carrying Case and Rechargeable Battery Kit for Coolpix 2200 & 3200

Got this item for my Nikon digtial camera that recommended using this type of rechargable battery. The initial charge took all night and still didn't charge completely. The discharge button "Refresh" is suppose to discharge the battery then charge it to minimize "charge memory" was also very slow and on many occasions locked up forcing me to remove the batteries and redo the process before getting a sucessful recharge. As for perfomance, it was average to mediocre depending on flash with the Coolpix 5600. This was due to a setting in the camera software where I had to set the camera to coolpix batteries. The other two choices were regular alkaline and other rechargeable battery brands. After making the proper settings the batteries performed very well. I got this charger as part of an accessory set with 4 batteries and carrying case. The camrera I have is a Coolpix 5600. I can recommend these batteries but to get the initial charge takes some work and if the user didn't read the entire manual for the camera (126 pages) the battery performance would be mediocre. There wasn't anything to direct me to check my camera software. An average non-tech person would have had poor results. The camera needs a way to automatically sense the Coolpix batteries.
