A 14.4 Kbps modem delivers your missives in a timely manner, while the 15-page automatic document feeder frees you from having to babysit the unit during lengthy sends. The nine one-touch speed dial setting and 50 coded dials allow you easy access to frequently dialed numbers. 15 of these can be accessed with the voice recognition software for hands-free dialing.

The fully digital answering system includes 10 minutes of recording time; you can easily switch between the fax and the system, or set it to remain on one of them if you're expecting an important message. A built-in telephone handset and Caller ID compatibility (with subscription to local service) allows the B45 to function as a home office telephone. Canon provides a one-year warranty with Instant Exchange service.
