Complete with easy on-screen programming via an included remote control or the front panel, the SG7964 includes 16 selectable recording options and a digital shuttle with six selectable settings, making it an ideal solution for round-the-clock security-surveillance applications.
The Lorex SG7964 utilizes a dual-azimuth four-head rotating helical scanning system that provides 300 horizontal TVL (TV lines) of resolution in black-and-white and 250 horizontal TVL in color recording. Suits my needs for a small CCTV system perfectly. I've had high-dollar recorders in the past, and with the constant use, they have all eventually had some problem that needed repair. Repairs can cost more than this machine, so the choice is obvious. Recording quality is fine; no problems so far!
