Description
Fujifilm FP-100C instant color film represents the primary type of instant product used within the professional and ID market places. FP-100C can be used in cameras and other photographic equipment that accept instant film with an image size of 3.25 x 4.25 in., and those provided or fitted with an instant camera back. The FP-100C instant film series has been optimized for shooting under daylight or electronic flash.

you need A LOT of light

I'm using this film with a Holgaroid, which means that I don't have much control over shutter speed (it must be approx 1/60 of a second or completely manual, which generally requires a tripod and a completely still subject like a tree), or much control over aperture (two settings: sunny and cloudy). Also, the main thing I am interested in photographing is people, which means that the shutter speed needs to be relatively fast because people are rarely completely still.
In order to use the standard shutter speed (1/60) and the "cloudy" aperture setting, you need BRIGHT sunlight. If it's cloudy outside, forget it. Virtually no picture whatsoever. Even in ideal situations, the colors in the pictures are muted at best - not comparable to what you would get from the cheapest roll of 35mm on the market with the cheapest processing.
I'm pretty disappointed in this product. I had been looking forward to using it and getting fun, on the fly instant photos. Instead, the practical application of this product is so limited that it's hardly usable at all.
