Excellent add-on for the Olympus

I purchased the TCON-1.7x tele converter lens to photograph small birds from a distance of 50 feet. Considering that it is a converter, my expectations for image quality were relatively low. However, the images are much better than I expected. The color and sharpness are excellent. Due to the length of the adapter and lens, I recommend using a tripod and shutter cable to reduce shake. If you're looking for a low-cost tele for the UZ550, this one is worth the price.
Great Telextender for Olympus SP-570UZ

I bought this lens to use with the SP-570UZ, primarily to take bird and other nature photos. It has proved to be quite sharp (even more than I expected!) and to still allow me to work with reasonably fast shutter speeds.

Bought this as a less expensive alternative for my Panasonic FZ50. Fits and works well. I had a Panasonic 1.5 converter I used with my FZ20 that I liked slightly better (more light gathering) but this lens works well.
