The new JVC GC-A50 is a tiny digital still camera that connects easily to your PC as a web camera so he can enjoy web chats with his mates. It can even send digital images via email across the world.Image Editing Software allows you to quickly and easily touch up any photo captured with your camera. It helps enhance your pictures before emailing or printing them (included in the software CD-ROM). The built-in digital memory gives a generous and flexible image storage capacity. The GC-A50 also features an Automatic Power Off to reduce energy consumption. It's TWAIN Aquire module lets you download pictures to your computer from TWAIN compliant devices like your camera (included in the software CD-ROM).The camera connects to your PC via USB, for quick and easy download of images, or for use as a webcam.

The GC-A50 weighs less than a pound, but it packs a lot of punch. With a built-in memory of 8 MB, you can take up to 70 pictures in standard mode. With resolutions from 640 x 480 up to 1,280 x 1,024, crisp pictures can be taken. All photos are JPEG compressed and can be easily uploaded onto your PC using the USB interface. The camera can also hold about 120 seconds of video in high resolution. All of this is powered by one AA battery (included). The camera comes with software as well as a neck strap and a stand.
