not the best for lens protection

This in reality is a small folding piece of rubber, definitly not the lens protection I wanted. I have not used it since I bought it as it seems worthless to me since it would do nothing if the lens was bumped or dropped and I don't think it would be large enough to even offer much glare protection..save your money and get a UV filter or different lens hood
