Minolta Advanced Photo System AD-100 Adapter

This optional APS Adapter AD-100 for Dimage Scan Multi film scanner enables users to scan images from Advanced Photo System film cartridges.

Minolta's AD-100 adapter is designed to increase efficiency for users of the Multi or Multi II film scanner, as well as allow scanning of cassette-style film. Used alone, these scanners are capable of handling four mounted or six sleeved images at a time. With the adapter in place, you can load a maximum of 40 frames from one Advanced Photo System film cassette. Other film scanners will require a different adapter, and users of Minolta's Dimâge ScanSpeed, ScanDual, or ScanDual II should check out the AD-10 APS adapter.

The multiple-frame scanning feature of this adapter allows batch scanning of multiple, nonconsecutive frames, which is of particular use to professionals looking for maximum productivity. The motorized film-advance mechanism in this adapter is especially practical when combined with the Index Scanning feature of the scanner's software. This combination of tools allows you to view a low-resolution version of each image on the film cassette all on the same screen.
