Description

The largest of Tamrac's 5000 Series professional camera bags, the Pro 12 protects two digital or film SLRs with lenses attached, multiple additional lenses and accessories. It is equipped with two Slide Pockets that incorporate Tamrac's exclusive Memory & Battery Management System (patent pending) for identifying available memory cards, batteries, and other accessories. The foam-padded main compartment features Tamrac's USA patented Lens-Bridge Divider System. The Dual Action Top has quick-access Easy Squeeze buckles plus an internal zipper for extra protection. Pockets inside the top keep film and accessories visible and organized. The two ZipDrop front pockets feature mesh and paraphernalia pockets to organize accessories and personal items. Other features include foam-padded end pockets, tripod straps, a foam-padded plastic bottom, a zippered back pocket, EasyGrip handle, BioCurve shoulder strap and Piggy-Back Pocket. You can add Tamrac accessories using the attachment slots for Strap Accessory System (S.A.S.) products to customize this large pro bag to perfectly fit your needs.

Roomy enough to hold two camera bodies, seven to eight lenses and a flash, the Tamrac Pro 12 camera bag is the ideal solution for the photographer who requires a complete assortment of equipment. The foam-padded main compartment, in conjunction with the padded dividers, provides a soft, gripping web of protection for your camera equipment. Accessory pockets abound. The top flap has mesh pockets for filters and other flat accessories. The front has two zipped flaps with mesh pockets on the inside, as well as internal pockets that conveniently hold whatever is needed. Padded side pockets can hold additional items, while the overhanging top section protects the contents from the weather. Internal pockets can hold batteries, calculators, tickets, or anything else that needs holding. Also includes film pockets that can store film and are even detachable from the bag itself, preventing exposure to x-rays, and allowing easy inspection by officials. Carrying the Pro 12 is a breeze with either the handle or the padded shoulder strap. When using the handle, a torsion bar stabilizer strut in the top distributes the weight.

Great bag very nice layout I use it with two Nikon bodies five lens and two large flashes and then a ton of other stuff in the many compartments. Bag seals up very well and the strap is of a great design too. All together i think anyone that has more than one camera body should have this bag.

i really love this bag

I really love this bag. It holds everything and is really heavy duty. I have a canon 20 D, 30D, two ex 580II's, canon 70-200 2.8 L, canon 24-70 2.8 L, 50 mm 1.8, sekonic meter, all my owners manuals, notebook, tons of extra batteries and chargers, rain jacket, 4 CF cards, with room to spare. At one time, I also carried my holga too. Highly recommended.

I had a Tamrac bag that gave good service for a number of years and wanted a larger bag. I investigated Tamrac bags at their website to be able to make comparisons between products.

This camera bag has plenty of space and is very well made. I do miss the opening in the old bag that could hold my 8x10 grey card,a notebook and my camera manual The partions inside are formed to support your camera with lenses mounted and you can customize since everything is anchored with velcor strips. The bag seems very durable, and is very roomy as this is one of their larger bags. Quality at a reasonable price. :)

Great bag

This is a great bag. I switched from a backpack style bag to this bag. It works better for me and allows easy access to all of my lenses and accessories. It is large enough to carry two camera bodies and several lenses and a flash unit along with filters, batteries, memory cards, and other miscellenous items. Over all a well constructed and well thought out bag.

Room for all your stuff.

I bought (and then returned) four bags before staying with this one. Is it perfect? Of course not, there's no such perfect camera bag. Backpack? Sling? Rolling? Shoulder? I wish there was one that had the benefits of all of these, but it doesn't exist. The backpack I had been using is wonderful for having both hands free, but it doesn't hold enough and when the "Kodak moment" came along, I had to wriggle out of it, put it on the ground (regardless of how messy the ground might be) and then zip it open to get the camera out. Whoops - my subject was gone. The 5612 is heavy when full of my gear, but I don't have to leave anything out and I can get my camera out quickly when I need it. Like all Tamrac products, it's made of strong materials and can take a beating.
