Description
The Adventure 2 is a compact photo backpack to carry an SLR camera, a few lenses and accessories. The bottom camera bag compartment is zipper accessed and completely foam-padded with adjustable foam-padded dividers while the top is a zipper closing gear compartment. Combined in a backpack these two compartments create a complete personal carrying system when you're traveling or just out with your camera traveling light. Features include a padded shoulder harness with quick-release sternum strap, an inner Windowpane-Mesh accessory pocket, a full-sized zippered top compartment for gear, zippered front compartmentalized organizer pocket, zippered side pockets and a quick-access zippered pocket on the front flap. This pack offers a lot of pockets and features for a compact backpack. If you want to carry a camera with two to three lenses, keep the weight distributed on your back and still be certain you have a place for everything, the Adventure 2 is a very good choice.
The Tamrac Adventure 2 has a duplex design. The bottom section is accessed through a zipper that splits the backpack in two, and holds your camera, lenses, flash, and other accessories in its foam-padded compartments. The top section is oriented towards loose accessories that aren't as delicate. Surrounding the main compartments of the Adventure 2 is a series of smaller pockets that hold additional items as needed.
The Adventure 2 features padded shoulder straps and a waist belt that can be tucked away when not in use, steadying the backpack while you're moving. Sturdy construction and foam padding create a protective environment for your camera, which is capped by the protective rain-flap top.

Best light travel camera backpack ever!

I traveled all over Germany with this backpack and it was perfect. I always had my various photographic equipment close at hand and never missed a shot because I left something back at the hotel or in the car. And I was always able to pack extra batteries, film or lunch in the convenient storage compartment. It also protected my equipment very well during plane and bus traveling.
a great way to carry your gear

I just got this backpack and I absolutely love it. It is a great combination of a backpack and camera bag - with just enough space in each. The top compartment holds quite a bit, I used this section as my "purse." The camera area is well padded - my camera and zoom lens fit perfectly. Three pockets surround the bottom half - great for film and smaller supplies. It fits nicely on my back and comes with a waist strap (that tucks in a pocket so it doesn't get in your way) and another strap across the chest to keep the pack secure against your back.
Just perfect...

After searching the internet, telephoning camera stores, and shopping at discount stores, I was very happy to receive an email that Amazon had a camera department. In just five minutes I had found the perfect camera backpack that I needed for a Christmas gift and in the price range I hoped to pay. Now I have decided that I am keeping the backpack because it is "just perfect" for my camera and equipment. It is exactly as described with room for everything. It is perfect for the amateur or professional when you need compartments for camera equipment and personal items. The same backpack is in catalogs and camera stores at a much higher cost. No one would be disappointed with this Tamrac backpack camera bag.
