Description
BCI3eBk is the black ink tank, which fits inside the BC30/BC30e (BJC-3000/6000 series/S400/S450 & S4500) and BC33/BC33e (BJC-3000) print heads. The tank contains only black ink and lasts for approximately 420 pages at 5% coverage/A4 page.
An ideal companion for your Canon BubbleJet, MultiPass, or S-series printer, this individually replaceable BCI-3e-series ink tank works with BC-30e and BC-33e cartridges and S600 printheads to help save money. Why replace the whole cartridge when only one color runs out?
The tank is designed for use with Canon BJC-3000, BJC-3010, BJC-6000, MultiPASS C755, MultiPASS F30, MultiPASS F50, S400, S450, S500, S600, S630, and S630 Network printers and multifunctions.

Genuine Canon ink and a good deal.

I am not a heavy user of ink and I see no reason to take a chance with "compatible" products to save a few bucks. With Amazon Prime I get a good price on genuine Canon ink plus free shipping and 2 day delivery. With gas over $4 it's hard to justify a trip to Staples just to buy a $10 ink cartridge.
Do NOT buy imitations!

The original ink made by Canon is the BEST and only way to go!
I used a "compatible" ink in my Canon Multipass F60 Printer, and within a week, there were printing problems, and now my printer is useless, even though I tried to put original Canon ink back in the printer. The cost of repair and replacing the ruined print head is more than buying a new printer! :(
Great Canon product, no mess and no fuss

I have stopped buying off market refillable cartridges as they often are messy and do not save much money. This cartridge is a staple for the Canon line of printers and all in on multifunction machines.
Works great

I never bought generic ink for this printer, so I can't compare.
Photos come out great if you use Canon's paper, do not waste your time, effort, or money on generic photo printer paper at your local office warehouse supply store. For text we print on HP printer paper from the same. Looks good, not great.
The name of the game is buy enough cartridges, and buy them before you run out, so that you can use the SuperSaver free shipping from Amazon. I go three deep on each cartridge, but then again I have a family that will drain these things out and not tell me until its too late. Next time I'm getting a laser printer, but again, that's a different review (Canon MP760 multifunction).
Great Product

For a while I used the generic ink but I found it was not beneficial to my computer and I had ink leaking, I went back to this original Canon product and have had no problems at all - my most recent machine has lasted much longer than the previous one and I don't know if the ink had anything to do with that or not - however I will stick with original ink now.
