Description
FilmShield XPF is a new generation of travel gear that guards unprocessed slide, print and motion picture film against x-ray damage emitted from high dosage CTX-5000 series security scanners recently installed at airports worldwide.
This film bag is designed to shield slow-speed slide and print film up to 200 ISO against possible airport x-ray damage. It holds up to three rolls of film or an already loaded point-and-shoot camera. The bag is constructed of lead foil sealed in protective inner and outer layers. The plastic clip seal makes closure simple.

Taking Film on The Cruise/Airlines

Very handy. Most places CLAIM the xray machines will not damage your film. That may be true if is only done once and not highspeed film. I kept the film pack in hand while going through check points and ask for hand inspection, a couple of times when they were busy I was denied a hand inspection and ran film packet through exray.
